    Liuyang Cai
    Postdoc, Bioinformatics
Ph.D. The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Liuyang is developing softwares to explore and visualize multi-omics sequencing data. By mining extensive public datasets, including Hi-C, HiChIP, and single cell data, he aims to understand transcriptional regulatory abnormalities in the progression of cardiovascular diseases and cancer.
    Ziqing Yin
    Postdoc, Biology
Ph.D., European Research Institute for the Biology of Ageing,University of Groningen

Ziqing has a particular interest in aging, especially in how age-related changes in 3D genome and epigenome influence cardiovascular health. His interdisciplinary background enables him to contribute a unique perspective to the lab’s research.
    Jun Qiao
    PhD Student, Biology
Master of Internal Medicine, Shanxi Medical University

Jun is focused on developing and implementing methods to can help us understand the shared genetic mechanisms between cardiovascular diseases and diseases across various other systems.
    Pengwei Zhang
    PhD Student, Biology
    Master of Science, Jinan University

Pengwei is studying how TFs’ transcriptional regulation and 3D genome organization in the failing heart. By mapping epigenome, RNA expression and 3D genome architecture in the single nuclei, he aims to understand the mechanism of heart failure at single cell level.
    Ruixin Zhou
    Master Student, Biology
Bachelor of Medicine, Southern Medical University

Ruixin is focused on finding the Hub RNA that mediates changes in three-dimensional chromatin conformation in heart failure. By exploring the RNA binding sites on the genome and chromatin interactions, she aims to discover new therapeutic targets for heart failure.
    Chang Shu
    Master Student, Biology
Bachelor of Science, South China Agricultural University

Chang is learning about 3D epigenomics experiments and related bioinformatics techniques, and he is intrigued by everything in the laboratory.
    Yelan li
    Research assistant
Master of Science, Shaanxi Normal University

Yelan is focused on dissecting the evolution dynamics of cross-species 3D genome of heart. By constructing three-dimensional genetic maps of different species, she aim to understand the theoretical breakthroughs in the mechanisms of species evolution and biological development.
